I design complex B2B software, with a lead engineer’s understanding of how it gets built.

Four and a half years in a bank’s security operations taught me what that software is like from the inside. I built and maintained the automation that response teams relied on.

About

Luke Norris

I’m Luke Norris. As a lead engineer I owned the automation and case-management layer, and ran projects end to end, from moving a team’s case management onto a new platform to designing and building internal dashboards, front end and back end.

The work sat between analysts, engineers and QA, so much of it was turning what each of them needed into something that shipped. That’s where I learned what makes software work for people: knowing who it’s for, what they need to see first, and where they get stuck. That experience led me into product design.
